Campsites
ONE FAMILY, ONE CAMPING UNIT AND ONE CAR PER SITE. Second cars and guest cars please park in
designated areas.
Walk on Roads! Not across sites!
Visitors
ALL VISITORS MUST REGISTER AND PAY VISITORS FEE IN OFFICE. This includes guests coming in with registered campers either by car or boat. Guests are expected to abide by all campground rules. Day visitors must leave campground by 11 pm. Please notify office of overnight guests by 9 pm.
Campers are responsible for all visitors rules!
Children
Teens and children cannot be left alone, day or night without parents or guardian supervision. Children 12 and younger must be on site by 8:30 pm unless with a parent. Teens must be on site by 11 pm Friday and Saturday nights. All other Nights by 9:30 pm.
Pets
All pets must be vaccinated and proof of vaccination provided in the office. Pets must be kept on leash (not extending site boundaies), QUIET and doppings cleaned up immediately. Pets are not to be left unattended in the campground. Pets may be walked from site to exercise area in large field above campground area only. Do not walk pets through campground.
No pets allowed in the beach area or in the lake!
Swimming
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY! Two or more adults (18 years of age or older) must be present at the swimming area when the beach is in use, with at least one adult on the shore. Children less than 16 years of age must be at all times be accompanied by an adult responsible for their safety and behavior while on the beach. Swim only within roped areas. No throwing sand or digging holes in the swimming area. No pets allowed in the lake or in beach area. No glass allowed in water or in beach area. Use beach during posted hours of operation only. Swimming at night or during electric storms is prohibited. In an emergency notify the facility operator at 315-635-6450 and contact help immediately. Free phone is available in Rec Hall office. Telephone numbers for the nearest medical facility are posted.

Bicycles
WALK BIKES DOWN ALL HILLS! Do not ride in front of Rec Hall (neither on the road nor the grass). Do not ride down the hill from the Bluff. Do not ride across campsites, ride on roads only.
Complaints will prohibit offender from further bike riding in the campground.
QUIET AFTER 10 PM AND BEFORE 9 AM
Dumping Service
Septic dumping service is available on Tuesday and Friday. A $8.00 pre-payment is required at the office. No sewer connections to gray water tanks allowed. Garden hose adapters are available for purchase in the camp store. All sewage in dumping station must be chemically treated.
Restrooms
Adults must accompany small children to the restrooms. This is not a play area. Please notify the office with any problems.
Boats
Boat launch hours are 9 am - 9 pm. Boat and trailer must be parked in designated area. Boat and trailer or boat trailers are not to be parked on sites or in second car parking. Dock at boat launch is to be used for launching and boat removal only. No docking. Use boat launch dock only, all other docks are privately owned. Mooring buoys are available for rent in the office.
Recycling
Recycling is mandatory in Onondaga County. Information sheets concerning recycling are available in the office. Recyclables are to be placed in garbage cans Next to dumpster at top of hill.
Short clotheslines may be used for swimsuits and towels only.
All electric cords from trailers to electric boxes must be 12-2.
Awning lights must be attached to awning of trailer no to trees.
SUNSET PARK DOES NOT ALLOW THE FOLLOWING:
Minibikes, ATV's or golf carts.
Motorcycles and mopeds are to be ridden to and from campsites only.
No outside refrigerators, 100 lb gas tanks, pallets, generators, guns or other weapons.
Electric heaters or electric hot water heaters are not to be permitted.
Air conditions can be used on 50 amp and 30 amp sites ONLY.
NO FIREWORKS
Do not cut, carve or hang objects in trees.
Excessive profanity, drinking or unseemly behavior to other campers, employees or management will not be tolerated and may cause expulsions from campground.
